Spontaneous trip

Tilman from Heidelberg in Germany tells the story of his spontaneous trip to Malta:

..Blind booking with Germanwings. Had just two and a half days, but really didn´t let grow grass under our feet. The first day we went to GOZO (we rent a car for the two days) and had a great time. In the afternoon we were swimming in the Mediterranean for hours. Had dinner in TA FRENC which is one of the best restaurants of Malta, four courses for 25 € - WOW!!

The second (and our last day) we explored Valletta in the morning, besides Lisbon my favourite city of Europe. Not big, but sooooo amazing. A great battlement with an amazing view on the sea, friendly people, many market stalls with great food (try the sweets like "almond puff"). In the afternoon we went to Marsaxlokk which is a small fisher-village. See the pituresque harbour with all the coloured boats. Close to Marsaxlokk there are the St. Peters Pools, a great place to swim in the Mediterranean (not a beach, it´s a cliff but it´s not a problem to swim). In the evening we had dinner in the "Southport" restaurant, WOW, amazing, never had such a good cost-performance ratio, the food was soooo delicious, a perfect service, fresh fish and so on. Don´t miss it.
