Rochdale links

Rochdale have forged a player exchange link with Maltese side Hibernians, from TeamTalk in the UK:

The Paola-based team will take Dale academy players on loan and give them first-team experience in the Maltese Premier League.

Meanwhile, the League Two outfit will offer Hibernians players the chance to visit Rochdale for extra coaching and guidance, with trials up for grabs for the most promising individuals.

Dale's centre of excellence manager Tony Ellis and technical skills co-ordinator Mick Wild will now travel to Malta next month to finalise the arrangement.
