Beth in Comino
Writing in the Kis4Kay blog, Beth decribes a recent trip to Comino:
..The other day we all went to a little island off of Malta called Comino. We went to a cave and jumped in to the sea. That was pretty incredible! I was afraid to jump of the rocks into the water at first, but then Byron’s mom went and that calmed me down. We swam around in the cave and Byron climbed along the side of the cliffs.
The day before Byron, his uncle and me went to a sicluded beach called Fomm Ir-rih. The water was a little rough which made it even more fun. This wasn’t a beach that you guys are used to. It was basically huge rocks, cliffs and open water. It was kind of freaky, but I’m just not used to it. I’m getting better about swimming in deap water. It always terrified me before, but I’m feeling better about it, especially since I can see what is below me thanks to the crystal clear water…
While we were at that beach Byron noticed a rock that had “Blacks go home” written on it. It pissed me of so I went over to it and tried to break it up with other rocks. I broke the B off, but that was it…Byron came over and helped me cover it up with other rocks...
