Heart problem

The President of Malta was briefly hospitalised for heart problems, reports EUBusiness.com:
Malta's President Eddie Fenech Adami was briefly hospitalised for a heart problem, the presidency said on Sunday.

Adami was admitted to the cardiology unit of the Mater Dei hospital in Valletta for treatment on Friday and returned home shortly after, his office said in a statement.

All of the president's engagements next week have been cancelled, including a state visit on Wednesday to Libya, it said.

Remember the fuss certain papers and certain correspondents created when Alfred Sant was hospitalised and operated upon before the last general elections? Will they be doing the same now? I hope not. Our politicians deserve their privacy. But I thought some people needed reminding!
