The "Eumedgrid" project officially starts in Malta, to promote E-Science in the Mediterranean. In the next 2 years an international group of highly-motivated experts will contribute to develop Grid infrastructures for the E-Science throughout the Mediterranean: an occasion to mitigate the Digital Divide and to promote collaboration between Europe and its neighbours.
